topic: Paper

We’ve been away from home since August 12th. I’m trying to incorporate the theme for each week into something found in our travels, though it’s not always possible. For paper, I noticed a errant playing card on the shore of Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park. Scroll down below this photo to see the view we were looking at when I spotted the card

The card was a

So many ironies with that paper card on those rocks. . .I’ll leave most of them be, but I love how the card superimposes on these sturdy rocks such a sandy word as Sahara.

Great photos I am not big on US geography but I take it that the card has come quite a way from Las Vegas? It is a great choice for this week’s theme. Happy weekend

well, wow, first — thanks for stopping by and checking out my PhotoHunt debut (painting my ‘67 VW with newpaper to cover the windows.)

Now, as i scrolled down this page here, I was thinking along the lines of — okay. plain & simple — a card. and then BAM! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Whew. I truly think that image took my breath away for a moment there.

I lived for awhile in northern Utah and western Montana so I knew the Rockies well. I went out there from New Jersey specifically for big mountains! And now I’m in Alaska. So I feel I can really appreciate beautiful mountain scenery. I love Wyoming! And image is purely STUNNING! If I type much more I’ll ruin the effect. Stunning!

    Have a great week! :)
