Time for a New Start

This blog has been “mothballed” for some time and I had recently decided to take it out of mothballs. In doing so, there was a couple of major changes that I wanted to make.

One change was to remove the option for images to be used under creative commons licensing. While I do like the idea of this kind of licensing, I no longer wish to use it for any of my pictures. To my way of thinking, creative commons licensing needs to be all or nothing and I prefer to retain the copyright for my images.

Another change was to delete all previously posted images. I now have a process to prevent duplication of images on a blog and between blogs. When I posted the old images, I didn’t have any process and it would be more trouble than it is worth to try to keep from double posting. As well, the images were posted under creative commons license which has been removed from this site and the images were larger than what I desire to post.

Unfortunately, when I was deleting the old images, I deleted two newer images, with comments, that were intended to be the inaugural images for the blog’s rebirth. Oh well.
